- Presque Isle Wine Cellars is the oldest still-running winery in Pennsylvania, having been founded in 1964. The winery is located in Erie, Pennsylvania, and produces a variety of wines, including Riesling, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
- Penn Shore became the first winery in PA to open after the Limited Winery Act, on April 30, 1970, and was the first Pennsylvania winery to sell champagne, in August 1971.
- Mazza Vineyards was founded in 1972, making it the third oldest winery in Pennsylvania. Mazza produces a wide variety of sweet and dry wines including the South Shore Wine Co. Brand.
- Buckingham Valley Vineyards was founded in 1974, and is located in Buckingham County, Pennsylvania. The winery produces a variety of wines, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Riesling.
- Adams County Winery was founded in 1975, and is located in Adams County, Pennsylvania. The winery produces a variety of wines, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Riesling.
- Nissley Vineyards was founded in 1978, and is located in Manheim, Pennsylvania. The winery produces a variety of wines, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Riesling.
